The Telegraph UK reported in China's UN diplomat in drunken rant against Americans that China's top-ranking UN diplomat, Sha Zukang, told UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon at a UN meeting "I never liked you."
Moon is South Korean. Was Sha Zukang's outburst directed solely at Moon or did it represent an official Chinese attitude towards Koreans?
Then he turned his attention to an American colleague and said, referencing him, "I really don't like him: he's an American and I really don't like Americans."
This was not his first rant. Previous he said "It is much better for [America] to shut up, keep quiet . . . But don't tell us what is good for China."
Sha Zukang tried to excuse his boorish behavior by claiming that he had already had a few drinks. However, alcohol merely reduces inhibitions, i.e. it makes people say what they really think.
When North Korea finally collapses, will China invade and occupy it on some pretense to prevent South Korea and/or the USA from getting near China's border?
